The Ukrainian office of the University of Washington/International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) seeks Training Developer for its project of international technical assistance focusing on public health, the position is based in Kyiv. The current key focus of I-TECH’s activities in Ukraine is strengthening capacity of clinical cadre in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
Duties will include but are not limited to: revising, editing, and finalizing training materials in both English and Ukrainian languages (PPP, training and facilitators’ manuals); provision of support to the experts developing training packages and coordination of their efforts; support of organizing and conducting training events; performing other work associated with development of reports, written materials as requested.
This position reports directly to I-TECH UA Program Director.
Requirements for the candidate include university degree (public health, health education, communications, education, social sciences, related field) with an equivalent combination of education and experience as possible substitution; 4+ years of professional record; experience of developing training materials for adults in healthcare settings and as a trainer/facilitator preferred; exceptional computer skills; exceptional communication and diplomacy skills; ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure; fluency in English, Ukrainian, and Russian languages; outstanding writing skills.
I-TECH will consider graduate students for this position, in particular those, who excel in their field of study; demonstrate strong motivation to gain experience in health education field along with the outstanding writing and language skills; are good team players and fast learners. Fluency in oral and written English language is a must. Part-time employment could be discussed.
